Used cars can be tricky and problematic, when buying a secondhand car, there is always a risk that you could have an issue. To mitigate the risks to our customers, we offer a 6-month in-house warranty to make sure that issues get rectified.
Here, at Get A Better Car, we regularly review all factors regarding the cars that we commonly stock, taking note of which colour, age, mileage, derivative and sale price prove the most popular and reliable.
We also record which cars have an issue and how much that issue cost to rectify and thought we’d share the data here.
So, here are some of our findings, but please be aware;
Model | % of cars with an issue | Number sold | Average of Vehicle Repairs |
Kia Ceed | 4% | 24 | £65 |
Vauxhall Antara | 12% | 34 | £353 |
BMW 3 Series | 17% | 47 | £152 |
Vauxhall Corsa | 17% | 115 | £422 |
Ford Fiesta | 18% | 62 | £308 |
Nissan Qashqai | 18% | 45 | £663 |
Nissan Juke | 20% | 82 | £258 |
So, the least problematic car we’ve ever stocked is the Kia Ceed with a total of £65 spent on repairs for the 24 Ceeds we have ever sold.
BMW 3 Series also carries a very low repair cost for the 8/47 of these that we’ve had to complete a repair on in comparison to other cars.
Which manufacturers have the lowest percentage of issues?
Make | % of cars with an issue | Number sold | Average of Vehicle Repairs |
